Going to a market outside of the Indianapolis area we felt that is was important to hire local therapists to deliver care to their patients. As we always do, the owners were hands on in initiating the contract start up and training the local therapists. Once the systems were in place we groomed one of the local therapists to be our onsite team leader to ensure ongoing and consistent management of the program.

To compete with new buildings in the area we worked with administration on redesigning and modernizing the existing therapy departments. We also introduced new technology to improve the facilities billing process while reducing excess labor in the billing process. The facilities are now state of the art and rival any facility in the therapy industry.

While doing all the above we developed an arrangement to guarantee the facilities a profit by establishing a per diem reimbursement rate based on the facilities RUG levels.

Now our facilities are the leaders in their areas when patients consider a true rehab facility.
